Ok so we're literally hours away from taking nearly a trillion American dollars and blindly handing it over to Hank Paulson in hopes he'll do .... uh... well... ummmm something good with it.. I mean we're not really quite sure how this is going to work or what he's going to do with that kind of money.. I mean someone handing you over 700 billion dollars to say .. here do whatever the hell you want with it, just seems well absurd.. But I understand that without our beloved Bailout Bill we'd collapse into apocalyptic cataclysms where there won't be any credit for anyone (I guess that would take care of my god damn monthly Visa bill) but after careful examination I have determined that terrible executive leadership is to blame for this insane situation we all have found ourselves. And indeed this is the finest example of the masses helping out the few, and our government needs to purchase these rotten assets to add value to them. I get all of that, and I understand the logic behind creating Bailout Bill... But can he really save the day or just prolong the inevitable, with all our jobs outsourced overseas, and all our wealth transferred to select corporations what do we really have to build our economy on?? Is Bailout Bill the superhero that will make all the manufacturing jobs return to the US, is he going to help companies curb the need to hire 6 year old girls in Bangladesh to do our accounting work??? If not, aren't we just inflating tires with more holes than swiss cheese?? Are we going to inflate and prop up our failing system to watch it collapse again?? I would be a terrible politician because I hate Bailout Bill, I hate the idea that he stands for, I hate that we waited so long to get to this, I hate that we were lied to about the state of the credit markets, and what I really hate the most that I really believe from the bottom of my heart that this measure is necessary or we'd really see a complete collapse of our economy worse than we'd ever imagine with unemployment 10 - 15% and the US dollar completely worthless...... Well so I am putting my faith in you Bailout Bill the real superhero designed to save America
