Wow ... So McCain wants to stop campaigning on the guise of caring for the country while he wants to rush to give King Henry SEVEN HUNDRED BILLION DOLLARS.. and for what??? Nobody can answer this question... What are we spending 700 BILLION dollars on? Well I think I have an idea.. We're going to back with taxpayer money the loans of foreclosed homes most of which are abandoned and owners have walked away, so they are no good loans, and instead of these being Wall Street investments, they are going to be YOUR street investments... We the American people had really no control of the securitization of private mortgages, we weren't the ones that grouped these crappy loans together and sold them to foreign investors. We aren't the over zealous lending firms that funded residential loans to borrowers with questionable repayment methods... We sure aren't the people that flooded our investment portfolio with these risky mortgage backed securities... WHY SHOULD WE BE ON THE LINE TO BACK THESE BULLSHIT INVESTMENTS????? The economy will fail... BULLSHIT!!!
I think this is the administration's last free-for-all grab into the honeypot of our economy. I think they are going to use this opportunity to shell out more money to Bush Buddies, and secretly mismanage the funds to appropriate money to more republican friends.. Its kinda like one last giant fuck-in-the-ass to the American people and one last opportunity to pillage the fragile remains of the shell of what used to be a great supernation. Now, we are no longer producers of anything... we import everything from tainted baby formula to lead toys.. and all our good paying jobs i.e. HR, AP/AR, Application Development, R&D, Engineering, Customer Service, Accounting, Information Technology, Process Manufacturing, everything... every good paying job is slowly being outsourced to inexpensive labor overseas... the only way this is going to stop is if its no longer cost effective for companies to ship these jobs overseas.... I think shelling out 700 billion dollars to save rotten investment firms is the worst thing we can do right now..
